Would a counter height table be too crowded looking in a kitchen with an 8' ceiling? I'd have to raise my chandelier. I know, I should post pics, but I was just wondering in general. The breakfast area in the kitchen is open to the kitchen and family room, so we have room, but I didn't want it to seem too tall for the room, with the light fixture hanging down.

And to those who have counter height kitchen tables, do you like them or wish you had regular height? I like sitting at my counter at the island, but I don't know about daily use at the table.
