Hi there :) I have never seen any color inside a fridge other than white, creme or stainless. But there may be different interiors...
As far as what help i can offer on panels, the wood panels as well as other appliance panels now come with trim options. Almost every company now offers them. In my kitchen I am looking at stainless steel panel edges (we covered a white refg to save $) It looks seamless. And if I understand your inquiry, yes, the side of the door itself has a trim pc. all to itself :)
