I am finally tot his stage in my reno and went to the plumbing showroom today.

Putting the sink the island and want to minimize the "clutter" on the sink. DH insists on hot water dispenser which is ok and soap dispenser.

My concern is finding a faucet that is high enough to wash a stock pot but low enough not to splash the entire island in a 7-8" single bowl sink.

Should i go with a higher faucet and deeper sink? I don't want to break my back standing there...I am 5'9 and dh is 6'1.

Pull down or pull out??? Does that make a difference in the splash factor?
