Does anyone have experience with paintable wallpaper? The renovation is working itself out of the finished kitchen and into the rest of the house.

We have horsehair plaster & I feel wallpaper is the way to go. I need something pretty substantial (thick & textured) to cover these imperfect walls. I looked at textured wallpaper & didn't see the color I wanted ( plus those were vinyl).

The paintable wallpaper is actually paper & not the strong scented vinyl...

Any experience? Would you recommend a brand?
