soapstone sink size??

I'm about to order a soapstone farmhouse sink for the kitchen remodel I'm doing. The functional portion of the "U"-shape kitchen is just 100 square feet(hot/cold/wet/peninsula portions). The house is an open concept 1.5 story cape cod.

I have room for either a 26.5 x 18.5 x 7.75 single bowl farmhouse or a 30 x 18.5 x 10 inch single bowl farmhouse.

I'd think the 26.5 inch sink is plenty big for a single bowl, but is bigger better if you have room? Either one will be mounted under the countertop (an inch of extra depth). Would the larger sink be abnomally large for such a small kitchen? Would the larger sink require a reasonably larger faucet to balance it out...and look odd because of this?

I do cook with larger pots now & then...though I doubt the smaller sink would be too shallow (in combo with a gooseneck faucet).
