Danze Parma faucet problem?

I have received the Danze Parma pull-down faucet I ordered from irawoods.com.(Been very happy with service and they matched better price found elsewhere) When I pulled out the sprayer and then tried to put it back, it did not want to stay in. I called irawoods, and they said that the weight of it will make it work when it is installed and if I was not happy they would replace it. However... I hate to wait, and to have to pay for installation/ deinstallation/ reinstallation if this is likely to be a problem. Has anyone got one? Does it hang out of the spout or stay in? I hate the way they look when they dangle. I like the design of it, but if it does not work, I will try again.

By the way~ if you have one, what are your general comments about it?

I believe any light weight sprayer head is more likely to not reseat correctly(flop over) as opposed to the heavier quality fixtures. As in most things you get what you pay for and with Danze they are a great less expensive line known more for their design or style than their over all built in quality. If you ever held a more expensive sprayer in your hand, such as a Grohe, you would immediately see the heavy built in quality and would see that when recoiled the sprayer will stay right where it is supposed to.
My choice would be, if price driven, to find to best price you can on a brand that is more substantial if the stay in factor is important to you.
    Hope this helps

If it's anything like my Danze Opulence pull-down (which I suspect) return the d*mned thing ASAP! Ours is a POS. It's got a little black plastic ring with some notches of some sort that's supposed to hold the sprayer in. Doesn't work without LOTS of fiddling. It almost always looks broken.

Thanks for the feedback. Sounds like it would be smart to send it back. Any words about the Hansgrohe Talis interaktiv? Grohe does not have a style I like.

I don't know anything about the hansgrohe line, only used the Grohe analogy because I have a good friend (that I quote here often) who sells premium fixtures, Price Pfister, Delta, Grohe, and because of the price points Danze and have actually had a chance to see the quality difference. Check his website for other styles and see if you can find something that will work for you. He has, as most others a price guarantee. E-mail for the link if you want to see his site. I am trying not to be construed as spamming anyone. It is only my sincere desire to help.

I have the Hansgrohe Interactive S High Arch, which looks to me exactly like the Talis (maybe they renamed it?). I love mine and it stays put once you push it up. I've had it for a year and a half with no problems at all.

I have the Danze faucet and I absolutely LOVE it! It does not dangle down. It stays nice and neat where it belongs. Best faucet I have ever used and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Unfortunately, that is not the model I have. The one I have is Danze D457058. I do not know how to put a photo into the post, but here is a link to a photo at irawoods.com, where I bought it.
Yours looks great, and looks like it would really do the job. I was concerned about cleaning one like that~ have you had any problems?

We figured out one of the design flaws of our Danze Opulence is last night. The faucet actually angles slightly backwards. Combine that with a very narrow / sharp arch and you've got a major splashing issue. Gah.

Nordhavn, I get that question all the time. I don't have any problem cleaning it because it doesn't get dirty (except occasionally on the part where I switch from spray to stream. It stays curved like that and there is no need to touch that part. I just remove it from the holder (it stays curved) and just move it around if I want to clean my sink.

I have made a ton of pie crusts, pies, cakes (can you tell I love to bake?) and it has not gotten dirty once from all of that.

I have the Melrose and the hose is weighted so it always goes back into place.
