Blanco Biscotti sink?

I have honey oak cabinets and have chosen tropical brown granite (thanks to lots of help and picts from this forum). I have decided on a Blanco sink, but DH does not want brown or black. Would Blanco's new Biscotti color work? Then what faucet? I want ORB, but there are so many variations. I like Grohe's Bridgeford ORB - very matte brown. Honey oak, tropic brown granite, biscotti sink, and matte brown faucet....Is that going to work? Suggestions? Thank you in advance. Instead of Black Friday shopping, I am stressing over sinks and faucets!

My suggestion, sorry DH, is the brown Blanco. It would work beautifully with your granite and ORB faucet.

I haven't seen the Biscotti in person, have you? Do you think it would work? Maybe you could take a sample of your granite and your sample door to a plumbing showroom to look at them next to the Biscotti. The color looks fine on my computer, but you never know IRL. From the appearance on my computer, it would probably work. I still like the brown better. HTH!

I have seen it in person but did not have my granite sample with me. It is very creamy (kind of french vanilla). This showroom is about 40 miles from my house, and, of course, no one closer even has a sample of it yet (only the picture in the book). I guess I am concerned most about having a matte brown faucet, then a creamy colored sink against the tropic brown granite. Will the light colored sink just stick out too much? DH let me cut my island down to one level (which he really did not want to do) so I am trying to give a little on the sink. The brown would definitely be an easier decision. Thanks, Breezygirl, for your help!

In the photo, the biscotti appears very yellow to me. Is it? I echo your concerns about the all of those colors.

The brown will show less dirt and grime in your sink so it will look cleaner even when dirty.

Call or e-mail Blanco and have them send you a sample of the biscotti. I did that when I was considering using a brown Blanco with a brown Elkay. I wanted to make sure the two would work together. (BTW, I have heard lately from a couple people that the Blanco sinks are of higher quality and are wearing much better than Elkay.) I received a sample in the mail in about a week! Do you have that kind of time? If not, then it sounds like a roadtrip for you!

I hope you win on the brown sink too. Aren't you the one who does most of the cooking and sink scrubbing after all??! ;) Let him "help" with the cab pulls.

    Another vote for the brown.

The biscotti would stand out like a beacon against brown granite (and not in a good way, IMHO).

I am going to check with Blanco for some samples. The biscotti is not as yellow as it looks in pictures but still light against the dark. I thought maybe the biscotti wouldn't stick out as much if it was an undermount. DH is definitely against black and has kind of lumped the brown in with that. Maybe I can use brown as a compromise between the black and biscotti!

Belle Foret has some nice kitchen faucets at a reasonable price. Rohl has some nice traditional faucets also. Rohl is a bit more money though.

Thanks, I will check out those faucets.

It just occured to me to ask...has DH ever seen the brown and/or black Blancos in person? I love black as a color, but I personally don't like the black silgranite. Something about it doesn't look deep and rich. But the brown is really yummy! Try to compromise for the brown. Tell him about how it won't show the dirt.

IMHO, the fact that the sink is undermount does change the overall look of them when seen at an angle.
