Need curtain panel recommendations...

I would like to hang curtain panels in the sunroom. I was thinking of a double rod with a sheer panel on the inside rod that would be open all the way during the day to take advantage of the great view and slid closed (on rings) during the night to warm the space up a bit. But I can't seem to find a good panel option to hang on the front side of rod. Any ideas??

Also, sunroom is open to kitchen, so colors/style would have to tie in. Thanks!

I love the look of those windows. I would hand inside mount honeycomb shades from the transom/right under the top window. Love your house! So nice!

I like your idea of the double rod with sheers and drapes. Since you'd like to hang the drapes from a ring my suggestion would be to have drapes custom made. You can use a rod with a batton to open and close them manually, but you'll need a rod (like from Vesta) that can have a "c" ring to move over the top of the support barcket. The width of the window and weight of drapes will require support brackets. Structured panels (like pleats, and there are many different styles of pleats) will allow the drape to open and close neatly. If you hung simple panels from rings you will spend a lot of time fussing with them to get them even upon closing and to stack neatly.

I think a soft sheer roman shade will give a bit of privacy when needed but is also functional. Decorative side panels in a soft print (maybe a paisley or stripe but a smaller scale print than the rug) to bring depth and the colors of the two rooms together. This would also be more cost effective using less fabric and hardware. Jeanne McDermott (jpsews)

I like the "At Your Service" comment and would take it one step further and extend your rods where you are hanging the panels about 6 inches or so onto the walls on each side of the windows. It looks like you have the room to do so. That way the panels frame your beautiful windows, you get the benefit of the color of the panels and you maximize your view without the panels covering up the window. ---Verta

Thanks everyone for the great suggestions! I really like the idea of extending the rods 6 inches to not block the view. I also really like the suggestion of finding a decorative side panel in a smaller scale print than the rug. The rod with a batton suggestion is also good! Was hoping to find something retail but might have to go custom...
