Greige Cabinets... Anyone?

I think we decided to go with the grayish cabinet. Can someone show me pictures of what they have done? Also what custom paint color did you go with? I think this color would look fabulous with brass pulls!

Thank you in advance!

I have greige: Martha Stewart 'Gull'. I love it now, but when it first went in I thought that I had made a big mistake. It took repainting the walls to a different shade of greenish-blue (I was determined to have a green-blue) to make it look right. My first choice was too blue. It is a silky rich color. I think it would be fabulous with other whites, sage greens and grays.

I do find that it is a hard color to capture with my camera. It always seems to look pink although IRL it doesn't, it looks more greenish, depending on the time of day. This picture was taken on an overcast day, northern exposure, under 3000k LED lights dimmed to about 60% (cabinet door open and lights dimmed to reduce glare) and no flash. I put a piece of white paper up to show the color more clearly.

and here is a pic using the flash.

My first choice color was Behr 'Campfire Ash' which is warm yet more clearly gray. The cabinet maker couldn't match it with his line of paint, though.

I love the idea of Benjamin Moore Edgecomb Gray cabinets. It's a warm gray.

I have a painted board sample and it looks great with oil rubbed bronze hardware.

Thank you both for your input! Do you think the Edgecomb Gray is gray or more taupe? I've googled it, and I've seen it represents does both! It's so hard to find the perfect greige!

Edgecomb gray is a great color but very changeable. We have it on our walls downstairs and it definitely looks more taupe a lot of time. It really depends on your lighting.

I have greige cabinets, but they are definitely way more taupe than grey. They aren't custom; they are Diamond and the color is Portobello. Fwiw, I've just been repainting the room itself in Edgecomb Gray and I love it - it looks like a warm creamy greige in my space, but next to existing yellowish paint, you really see the grey. These photos were taken after the first coat of Edgecomb on the walls and before we have finished a bunch of finishing touches (including some cover panels and the right runner.)

If you're really more interested in grey than greige, consider posting another query - there have been some beautiful grey cabinets here, often just an island with white or wood perimeter. I'm blanking on the names, but there are some gorgeous greys on this site.

Beautiful!!! I'm looking for a lighter taupe greige. I tried searching the forum, didn't find anything. "

In my kitchen with little natural light, the Edgecomb Gray looks less gray than the cabinets above in the Houzz photo, but it's a very pretty soft greige color. Revere Pewter also looks good, just a bit deeper and more gray.
