to replace 'knife hinges' or not?

Are knife hinges (I don't have pix of my actual cabinets/hinges) supposed to bounce back open if you shut the door hard? That's what is happening with my cabinets, which are about ?15 years old.

- They're supposed to be lifetime warranty.

- allow 180degree opening

- supposed to be self closing? (but not)

Wondering if I should switch these knife hinges for the highly rated blumotion ones...

or maybe mine are malfunctioning?

I think they might be adjustable. Perhaps some fiddling with something would help. Or, if you can see some working properly, replace with something similar. I'd avoid the European style hinges because they are so different, it'd be a large annoying project.

On malfunctioning drawers I think it might be worth it to get Blum hardware, but hinges not so much. It ought to be enough to open (and 180 is pretty nice), close, and not bounce open again. And having the hang adjustable like those pictured is nice.
