Composite Kitchen Sinks

Greetings,

Has anyone had any experience with composite kitchen sinks? We are planning a new home and were intersted in using either the Moenstone or Blanco Silgranit sinks. These appear to be a good choice for durability and looks. We are familiar with stainless and their drawbacks and are hoping to avoid scratches and dings with the newer materials.

We have seen the Moenstone first hand but not the Blanco. The Blanco appears to be less expensive and we are really curious about it's quality.

Art, I've been using my new Blanco 1 and 3/4 in bisque for a couple of weeks now. It is great. The big side is huge and the smaller side is still big enough to be useful for draining, rinsing etc.

The color picks up the lighter specs in our granite so it looks really good. No water spots either. I've had stainless and white enamel, and I like this far better. If you do a search for Blanco here, you will read lots of positive reviews.

If you have a Home Depot Expo near you, they have the small chips so you can see the color-not as good as an actual sink, but better than a picture on your monitor.
