Someone shoot me....

Well, I just spent about 7 hours installing a sink. Yep, I mean it. In and out eleventy billion times. I bought a drop-in Kindred sink, the largest that would fit a 33" cabinet. The cab was barely deep enough and I wound up fairly butchering the carpentry to get the clips space to install. Even got out my diamond wheel on the die grinder and attacked the quartz. Then, I realized that the sink was NEVER going to be able to be pulled flush to the nice new and permanently-cut-out-for-this-size-sink quartz counter. Too warped, too big, not enough clips in the right places. Aluminum freakin' clips!

It's black (the counter) and I'll caulk the bejeebers out of it. It'll look fine to the casual observer and be fully functional. I need a hug.

Gosh, I'm sorry. I don't normally touch plumbing for exactly that reason.

Oh, now you're just making me anxious - or maybe that's my excuse for a martini... I just bought an on display drop in sink - the first purchase for the new kitchen, and you're giving me the heebie jeebies that it won't fit...

Did you put the countertop yourselves or did you have a contractor done it for you? If you have a contractor, could they come back and fix the sink installation for you? If you didn't, is there a way you can ask a local contractor to look at it and give you some advise?

I'm suggesting because my granite contractor installed the sinks (bar & kitchen) in for me. Then, the plumber did the blumbing afterward.

I had the countertop installed by pros but I'm doing the plumbing. I'm going to take a break and just use it as is. I can always pull it and fiddle with it some more. Later.
