I ordered a complete set of appliances from Home Everything. Close to $7K worth for a bunch of Frigidaire Pro stuff and a Broan compactor.

Shipping does take a while (expect 3-6 weeks), so if you are in a hurry, you may want to consider other options. I speculate this is because they have zero inventory and ship directly from the manufacturer or distribution center. It has to ship first to HomeEverything, then to a local shipper in your area, then to you. Lots of steps and hand offs.

In my case, I received a partial shipment last week after ordering right before Thanksgiving. The double oven, according to the local shipper, was damaged when shipped to them, so they sent it back to Homeeverything. My Broan trash compactor arrived damaged and we marked it on the sheet (I should have just had them take it back). I contacted Homeeverything, they apologized, and immediately put in another order for a replacement double oven and compactor. I expect it will take a long time as well.

For me, speed is not an issue, as I only started to demo my kitchen this weekend. The appliances are simply staged in my dining room from when the time comes.

If you can handle the wait, and the increased likelihood of damage from so many shipping handoff's, I say you cannot find a better deal w/out getting into negotiation with the sales people at the local store - something I am not interested in doing. I prefer to shop for the best price and just buy it.

If you like to haggle, I suggest you take a printed copy of the homeeverything shopping cart, including the "no shipping and taxes" illustrated as zero cost line items, and go over to Sears. When I was in Sears shopping, they told me that they would beat any online price by 10% - that covers taxes and Sears often has free shipping deals. If that doesn't work, go home and order up, knowing that if anything goes wrong, Homeeverything will fix it. I read their policies on the web site, and technically, since the Broan unit was left in my house, I should have been forced to accept. Instead, I received and apology and a nearly immediate email confirmation of another unit being shipped to my house.

I,did not order from them. But I, took a copy of their price to Lowe's and they matched the price for me. Shipping, and all. plus let me, use a Lowe's 10% coupon. Not all Lowe's will deal. I, know two in my area that will. Lot of stores will now due to the economy. sharaz

I've ordered from them and I know a co-worker who has as well...no problems to speak of. Shipping took a couple of weeks but I am on the West coast.

As the other poster suggested if you are in rush do not buy from these guys. You can not expect any customer service and shipping is very slow. If you have problems then they will not resolve it quickly.
I would go to more reputable stores and most will price match it. Also they claim to have 13% cashback on bing but there are few complaints that they do not honor that, to me it is deceptive advertising and unethical practice.
Be extremely careful. Go to AJ Madison or ABT they will match the price and are more reputable.
