Hello, I was looking up tiny kitchens on this site and came across your post.I am interested to know how you designed your space. I can't believe that I can say that my kitchen is larger than yours, it will be 5'7"x9' after I knock down a wall to the closet. It is now 5'x6'. I am going with all small appliances, no dishwasher. I would appreciate seeing your layout if possible for any ideas. Thanks.

Hi estebanmom. I wonder if you're moving into my building! I'm taking space from my bedroom closet for the refrigerator. I'll try to post my layout but I'm not sure that I'll be able to do it.. I've worked with a great architect who has a lot of ideas and since the process of buying the place took longer than expected, I've had a lot of time to think about this. It's basically going to be "L" shaped with the cooktop/oven on the longer part of the "L" and the sink on the short end w/the dw to its left (I MUST have a dw!). I've lived in a tiny kitchen for a long time so I'm used to cooking in it and actually like it a lot. I'm going with white upper cabinets and french grey lowers with a grey counter (Caesarstone though I'm curious about your decision to use slate b/c I love the colors and look of it). This process has been crazy-making! My thinking continues to evolve. Let's keep talking!
