Under your sink

How much are you able to store under your sink after the plumbing, garbage disposal, etc.? I would love to see a couple of photos.

My sink was in a 42" corner cabinet and will be in the new configuration also. I could get loads of stuff in there as well as a pull out garbage can. However it was so deep that stuff got lost in the back, and I would bump my head while down on my knees trying to find something in there. So in the new set up I plan to use some organizers to keep things handy and accessible. Sorry no pix. The old one has been torn out, thank goodness, as it was way too messy to show anyone anyway, LOL.

I have a Julien undermount with the drain in the corner. Most of my cabinet is therefore available for storage.

We have the Franke Orca, garbage disposal is at back of sink. There is tons of room under the sink. The heat vent for our kitchen comes out under the sink cabinet so the cabinet gets very warm. Our garbage is in cabinet next to sink since we always need to put things in the trash when the sink is in use. All we have under the sink are cleaning supplies

    Under our main sink:

It is a 1 3/4 bowl in a 36" cabinet. I think our plumber did a nice job of keeping the plumbing minimized. Tank and filter for instahot are on the right of the GD. All our cleaning supplies for the kitchen are stored under here including big boxes of trash bags and dishwasher soap. Also the cat food. Here is what it looks like from above.

The prep sink in a 24" cabinet:

It is on an island so there is an extra pipe going down for the plumbing vent. We have enough room underneath for prep tools like my big mortar and pestle, mini food processor, hand mixer, immersion blender. Also the fire extinguisher and a very big saute pan that doesn't fit nicely in the pot and pan drawers.

Not a storage tip, but my mother-in-law had the installers lay the same tile used on her kitchen floor in the bottom of the under sink cabinets. Keeps the space looking neat and tidy for years!

My under the sink has the garbage disposal and wiring etc for the dishwasher , faucet and soap dispenser. It is in a 42 inch sink base cabinet. On one side, I installed a pull out trash can. In the middle I have a bowl for accessories and on the left side of the cabinet is a storage area for my cutting boards.
