I think Ebony would look great!

Ebony is good but Bronze/Black is so hot right now! You should also consider the Milgard products. They are a competitor to Marvin but with more options and better pricing.

What's the style of your house/Area of Houston? Consider finishes, within that.

Milgard. Be aware, from my experience, bottom up:

3) If you need screens, be very, very sure you know how they are used, within the windows that you choose. They can be very dysfunctional-to-non functional. Crank out? YIKES.

2) Milgard can (and were in my house) really screw up any custom sizes. Literally, over a third of my windows (and we have a ton, in a 2400 sq ft view home) were delivered the wrong size. The excuses ranges from "??-- we can't build it like that" to ""Geeze, were sorry we got the custom cuts backwards" to "we had a software snafu", and then on and on. Like I gave a crap about their business problems. I was lucky. Both my contractor and my architect had been heavy buyers of these windows, and they worked their tails off for a couple of days to get the right ones built and delivered, in time not to screw my build schedule.

3) They are very, very spotty on their warranty work. In the end, I still ended up with a few windows for where I had paid for tempered glass- absolute code, in areas- that they did't deliver. One was cracked, as well. And frankly, my Builder's Warranty paid for the replacements- not theirs.

Go with Marvin, and never look back.
