Yes that is snow! I think I will leave it out all winter. Gotta chance it and see what happens so I can tell people what happens when they are out at 30 below... If it breaks I'll make another one lol

Wow, great planter Fleur. How did you make the planter. Did you use a form? Did you make it all one piece or was it made in several pieces and then tufa'ed together? Sorry for all the questions, I'm new to this.

Planter is in 3 pieces. for the planter itself I used a plastic pot and put about 2 inches of tufa on the inside ,the stem is a sono tube filled with concrete. and the base is just a square wooden box hubby made for me. I then glued them all together with a sealbond mixture. I then covered stem and base with tufa. Hope this makes sense...
