Okay, thank you much! Got a "baby" First Frost last fall and was disappointed with it then...the blue looked totally green, the edge was very narrow, and the leaves were very thin, but am trying to be patient since it was/is young. Well, patient too to see if it comes back this spring, first, and what it looks like this year.

Thank you :) Got a dormant El Nino last fall, gotta wait to see what it looks like this spring too, provided that it wakes up well and all. Assuming that the El Nino edge will stay narrow, but curious to see how these two compare in blueness, although both are still young.

Pretty Birds, a possible explanation for FF's colour was due to purchasing late in the season...where colours often change (as they do in sunlight for e.g.). I picked up a June Fever late in season two years ago and it was almost all green. I presumed it was held in a shady area until sold. It has been vividly colourful since - all season.

My First Frost turns to a deeper blue throughout the season but the glorious powdery blue in spring is amazing. The edges will widen with time on FF but I can't speak for EN.
