Beautiful! I love the yellow.

I seem to be loosing interest in my gardens as the season progresses. It happens to me each year.

Things here are starting to look a little tattered. Yours are looking very good.

I can't remember what the one in the 2nd picture is called. With the blue/purple.
Mine is in it's first year an about half the size of your. So thanks for the great picture an hope for next year.

I am sorry if the pictures are too big. I am at my friend's house and the pictures are big on his computer. They aren't at my house. Tiger eyes sumac, anise agastache, Henry Eilers rudbeckia subtomentosa which has a subtle pleasant smell like nice smelling pipe tobacco. My yard does not look good. It is hard to find something that looks good. My siphoning pond is a mud hole and I am saving bath tub water and siphoning it out the window. I am the queen of siphoning.

Thanks Helen. It was starting to bug me that I couldn't figure out what that first one was. I'm only familiar with wild sumac. lol That's really pretty! Is that it's summer color or fall color? I noticed this week that I've been seeing some red patches of sumac in the ditches along the roadside already.

It is always that color. The plant is not cheap. I had it before in a pot and I kept it two years. It makes a beautiful pot plant, but this time I am taking better care of it.

Hey, Queen of Siphoning -- That's just darned smart of you to conserve water. If I could, I would use all my grey water, but I'm not in the "country" enough here to do it. I made a note about your siphoning just in case water issues get hairy in the future. Thanks.
