It was once a variegated plant, and reverted, now it's returning to variegated again. Or it's the other way around. Great. You may want to isolate the varviegated head in the summer, and fertilize and water it well, it really may surprise you, I did that with my Masoniana and it sure did surprise me. It's wonderful and healthy what more whould you want. I also recognize a few names here, and it makes me smile. Norma

Norma, how are you? It is showing varigation now after growing normally. Hopefully a division will grow true varigation instead of or two leaves that are sports.

I should told you that do not feed your plant with any Nitrogen fertilizer,
it will make your plant GREEN, it prefers P and K with plus Calcium & Boron :P

Chanin, my plants are lucky if I feed them water! The only gernera in my yard that get fed are the tills and the palms.

I use
Bayer's two in one Rose Food, the variegates also like more light. My plant turned completely green now it's variegated again. I would not take off any leaves, but would wait until one whole new offset, (plant) is variegated then take it off.
Be sure to leave at least a 3" rhizome attached. To the new plant. Better yet take off the green ones , and leave that one in the pot make sure it is established before doing this. The new plant must have plenty of rhizome for it to survive and carry on it's good work, don't be in a rush. Use a sterile new razor or exaacto knife to this separation. Wash your hands first, so you are not introducing any malies or bad insects to the new fast draining clean soil. Norma
