Great Kitchen - I'm about to build a house and am intrigued that you chose both brushed nickel (cabinet hardware and faucet) and oil rubbed bronze (lighting); my question is did the rest of the home have brushed nickel hardware for doors, bathrooms,etc. and lighting or was all of the lighting and hardware different like kitchen? And if yes, how?

Where did you get the light over the dinette table?

I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this kitchen like everyone else. We're getting ready to redo our kitchen and was wondering what granite you used on counter tops and island. It appears to be a grey and white color.. Is there any beige in it? I want to paint the walls a beige color like you did here, but not sure if grey and beige look good together. If it is grey and white, then I will go ahead with the beige walls because I love the overall look of what you've done. I. apologize if you've already answered this question, but I didn't see it anywhere. Thank you so much for your help.

The dinning light is from Kichler.com. Pendants look similar to a Livex piece, Hope that helps.

do you have pictures showing the rest of the kitchen such as the sink area and behind the kitchen table?

Can you also please share how many inches you have between the island and the fridge wall, the island and the stove and the island and the sink. It looks like it different measurements? Love this kitchen!!!!!

What is the length of the island?

Thank you so much for your response. I asked because I ordered the Hundi pendants for over my island but was surprised at their size. My island is 62" long so that wouldn't leave much space between them. Is there a standard amount of space that should go between pendants? Do you know of anything pendants that are similar in look but a bit smaller in size? Thanks again!

Hi jdanforth31, I'm sorry that happened to you! There are many light fixtures that you can use though. I don't know of any standard space between them. There may be but I don't know it if there is. I just put the light where it is needed and use my judgment about the spacing. You can Google things like that. Also, there are many light fixtures that resemble Hundi but most that I know are more expensive. That's one of the great things about the Hundi Lantern. It's affordably priced. Google "Lanterns and Pendant Lighting Hinkley". That will pull up a nice assortment. Hinkley Lighting is a nice brand. My favorite websites for lighting are Lamps Plus and Build.com. I am trying to find real "white" kitchen cabinets with a cocoa glaze in the creases. All the cabinets I see in the stores with this glaze seem to look cream or more off white. From this picture these cabinets seem to stay true to the white color. Is that the case? If so, what brand are these cabinets and what color?

Hi Five Start, you've just been looking in the wrong places! :) Yes, they look white. You wouldn't want something as white as lets say, a sheet of paper though so please don't lay cabinet samples down on pure white objects and compare. It should be a bit off white or it wont be pleasing. Now, that being said...go find a Kitchen Craft dealer in your area and check out the "Alabaster" color. Kitchen Craft has many glaze colors and they don't apply it too heavily. They have a range of products that suit every budget too! Best of Luck with your project! Jo McKeown/Great Spaces!

I was told to use a taupe beveled subway tile for my back splash...can you tell me what color this subway tile is??

Hi Z, This tile is Gray Glass from Emser Tile, the color is Fog ( Morning Fog ). If you want Taupe subway look at MSI Stone or Tile Bar websites...they both have some as do a thousand other sources...go out and check your local tile shops too!
