My dear grandmother used to make the best sugar cookies in the world. She has since passed and her recipe has gone with her. I remember her saying that it was a simple recipe with just the basics: flour, sugar, butter etc. But other than that, I'm lost. They were crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Anyone have a tried and true sugar cookie recipe that might be close to hers?
