It looks like it could be cold rolled steel. A similar look could be done in wood, too. I like it. Kudos to Ward-Young Architecture & Planning.

The door is clad in hot-rolled steel with a natural sealer finish.

This home has inspired us to design / build ours in Calgary, Alberta. It is absolutely gorgeous, and thank you for your design inspiration in absentia. We are now in the framing stage. We love the door design, and we was wondering who the door vendor is? Modern doors that are 6'8" or 8'0" are soooo limited. We are hitting a wall on this one (bad pun). (Wood doors are a problem in our environment).

@soccerwait - We are in interior BC and also are inspired by this house. I would love to hear about what you did and sourcing of materials. We are in the design phase and planning for May construction.
