I like ceilings painted the same as the walls if the wall color is quite light if it is a bit darker I usually have the wall color cut 50% for the ceing . I love colored ceilings in bedrooms for sure it makes them feel cozier

Paint the ceiling. Especially if there is crown moulding, it really pops.

I like the ceilings to have a little more interest and believe that the color should compliment the walls...but there are so many ways to bring interesting ways to making the ceiling even darker than the walls. I always like to see crown but only when it can be a substantial size.
