A recent Ideabook asked to show your home office, which reminded me, oh yeah! I can ask the Houzz community for help! My home office is 8x11 and I've always struggled to find a good arrangement/the right furniture for it. I use it for computer work, sewing and painting (no place to put the easel - just haul it when needed- but don't paint as much that way). The room has 2 doorways (entry and closet) and windows that face south across the front. I store my files, sewing machine and wireless printer in the closet. The chair is too big I know, but I seriously can't deny my dog his favorite chair! Thought it might be nice to have built in bookcases on either side of the windows with window seat in between and then float the desk in the middle of the floor, but worried there really isn't space for that. I've had it dark red, which was fun, but a dark gray blue would be nice, but I like the color it is now too. Or maybe it's just fine the way it is and I'm way overthinking things!! Aaaaah!
