My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Was the ceiling originally popcorn?

We live in a 1962 Cliff May house and are hoping we'll reveal something similar to your ceiling, with exposed rafters, when we remove the popcorn.

    No, All woodwork was originally painted.
    You should be able to re-capture the beauty of your space once the "cheese" is gone!

    I love this photo, it looks so much like our new house.

    We have aggregate flooring and exposed beams too. Thinking of painting similar to yours. Some rooms are popcorn though, and we definitely want to get rid of that if we can. Thanks for sharing!

    Another solution to popcorn is stretch ceiling. It may or may not be right for your space, but it's an option to be aware of. Please see our profile + website for more info.
