We want to update our counters with new quartz slabs but we are running into a design challenge. Our windows are low so the existing cabinets were a little low. This existing counters work for clearance for the dishwasher by adding a notch. The reason the cabs are low are so the counters are flush with window sill. Should the slab go over the sill and how would that look? Would I then have clearance? We wanted floating floors which would reduce clearance more. We don't want a smaller dishwasher.
