Does anyone have any strong pros or cons with polished ceramic tile vs the matte finish? We love the polished look as it looks like travertine without all the problems, ie, staining, sealing, etc.

It will be used on three walls of our shower. We have heard the polished requires a lot of maintenance to prevent water marks, among other things, to keep the polished look.

We could be happy with either but would prefer the polished and are willing to do some maintenance.

Would love to hear what anyone has to say before we make the purchase. I should add the size of the tile is 12X12.
