Very hard to find clear glass tiles.

Perhaps the solution is to install white backer board for the tile....or paint it before applying white mastic to hold your tiles in place. Otherwise the backer board and your mastic might show through the clear tile. A good tile installer would know how to handle this. If it is a DIY project, then I would experiment....

The tile looks Aqua to me. The tile will stay color it is. It isn't. See though?? Really don't understand the question.

When tile is installed a mastic is used to hold it on. The color of the wall, floor or whatever you are putting it on will not show. Maybe you could paint the back of the tile to make it show whatever color you want.

Wow. So much uninformed advice here! First, DO NOT use mastic to install glass. Only a WHITE highly modified thinset will do. Secondly, what gives the tile its color is a bonded coloring on the back of the tile. No matter what color the surface is that you're sticking the tile to, or the color of the thinset, the tile will still show the same exact color. The reason for using white is that it'll show through in the joints, as well as not showing a shadow of a darker thinset through the colored backing.
