Please help.

I have a line of 15 yr old black walnut trees that were planted 15 ft apart. I need to remove about every other tree (6-7 trees) and wondered whether there is ANY chance of successful tranplanting given the size of these trees and knowing that walnuts do not transplant well given the tap root. The rental truck with the tree spade will cost me $300 - $400 so I would not want to waste the money if there is NO chance of any tree surviving. Does anyone have experience or knowledge in this area?
