Not in bloom so I would repot right away. All that moss will drown the healthy orchids. I'd repot at least one pot bigger.
Soak the plants in water for 30 min. With a hose shower nozzle wash off the moss. Do not worry about getting it all. You might harm the plant. Pot with the new growth having room in the pot. Pot the orchids on the potting material, not in them.

An orchid friend visited me soon after I posted this message. When he saw these plants in soggy moss, he told me to "get them out of there, or you are gonna kill the roots overnight". Kinda freaked me out. I unpotted the plants right then and there, and we saw mold already growing in there! This was just 2-3 days after watering!

It's entirely possible that I do not know how to water in moss, actually. I just watered generously, let it drain and set them back on the shelf, like I do with the rest of my plants (most in bark, some in mixes where sphagnum is no more than 1/3rd of the mix). Maybe I needed to get a teaspoon or something lol.

So, obviously, moss had to go. I sprayed them with soap solution, then soaked them all in molasses water and potted into Orchiata. They are doing well now.

What is molasses water and what do you use it for? Just curious, never heard of it.

The seller of these Cattleyas suggested to use it, and a few others confirmed. I used 1 tbsp or a little less per gallon of water. Soaked the whole plants including the leaves, for a few hours, then rinsed and potted up. It's important to rinse and to do this only to bare-root plants, otherwise remnants of those sugars will encourage mold and fungus growth.

Some people use sugar or brown sugar for this, but molasses contains more diverse mix of sugars - from simple to more complex carbohydrates, which supposedly helps the plants get started in the new medium and pot.
