In another post I said that you need all day sunlight filtered by shadecloth, something like this.

That moss is fine for some types of orchid but not Cattleyas. You need a more arid type of mix, for Florida perhaps lava rock chunks + perlite.
The correct name might be Lc. Gold Digger 'Orchidglades Mandarin' It is a famous orchid widely grown around the world. See if you can find some complete cultivation notes written for Florida, not windowsill growers in Northern USA.

That kind of pot would could dry out the roots very fast. I kind of prefer that but you'd need to water a lot at first until the clay absorbs some water.

Just to add to what I wrote above.
I changed orglades Mandarin to Orchidglades Mandarin because Jones and Scully who produced some wonderful orchids called many of the orchids they registered Orglades and they called clones Orchidglade or in the case of my plant of Lc. Gold Digger they called the clone 'Orchidglades Mandarin because of the colour.

Thank you cooperDr ... Yes this pot dry a lot fast than the other but i am willing to try it because it was very wet the moss when i got this orchid from home depot.

I am posting a follow up picture to know if i can do anything when i got this orchid the leaf was starting to turn yellow now is very yellow ... What can i do? Is gone this one ? Also i saw some ants on the vase ... Any way to get rig off those ants?
