I need information about my new 2,800 gallon koi pond.
I just ( month ago)built my pond.The water has cycled good readings on ammonia-0, nitrites-0, phosphate-0 ,p.h-8,
have 7 koi's (2",5",and one 8") and 10 feeder goldfish.I have a waterfall for oxygen and a supplement small pond filter for surface agitation.Today will be adding a uvc 18 by tetra to help with the algae.
Has anybody here added a tree stump with roots to their pond before? If so, what did you do to make the stump ready to be added to your pond? right now I'm removing the bark but i can't find anything out on doing this. It's a orange tree stump which had been cut down over 2 yrs. ago.
