Wow that is gorgeous. Reminds me of rooguchi, does it have tendrils or does it ramble like rooguchi?

Its a cross C texensis and possibly C pitcheri.
It has tendrils grows to about 8 feet its a group 3 clematis

Buckland Beauty is a lovely clematis! In response to a photo of BB on Facebook, Dan Long, the owner of Brushwood, said he will have it in stock next year. You can put in a request in the listing on Brushwood's website to be notified via email when a particular clematis is in stock. (I have no interest in the nursery except as a satisfied customer over a number of years.) I think it is also currently out of stock at Joy Creek Gardens, another nursery that has BB in its list.
