You can only post one picture at a time. This forum will take a much larger picture if it is a portrait 2 times taller than it is wide. You can use as many ------------Follow-Up----------- post as you need.

Here is the only one of 13 fig trees that need light pruning. I do not have a good picture to mark the branches. It is unlikely that your tree needs pruning.

Thanks for the reply! Here are some pictures for you to assess. A local plant store advised I used 20-20-20 fertilizer every second watering so I've started doing that.

do not prune, but do increase thew size of your pot. I would increase the size to double the volume and be sure to cut any wrapping roots.

This 10 month old from rutted cutting has yet to be pruned. She is in a 5 gallon buck as of picture time July 2013. This is the same tree pictured above but 11 months younger.

I will do that. What do you mean by "cut any wrapping roots?"

When the roots reach the pot they are forced to change directions and go around the surface of the pot and wrap the plant. these roots need to be cut or unwrapped so they spread.
