I have a cape honeysuckle that has been blooming very nicely until we got a couple pretty hard frost. Now about 2 feet of the outside branches look black and dead. Should I trim these branches off? They have been really pretty all fall with beautiful orange flowers and so nice to have pretty flowers in the winter. I live on the upper texas coast and we have very few freezes but do have frost. Just not sure what to do about the frost damage.
