Hummingbird Garden

how to germinate Seven-Up plant

Howdy,
To attract hummingbirds to my Zone 8 coastal garden it was recommended I grow the Seven-Up Plant, Stachys albotomentosa. I have obtained seeds, which I sowed at 70F for one month. Still no germination. Does any one know if I shoud have cold stratified these first?

Seedmoney, this is a handy germination site that I use. This is for perennials. If your plant is an annual, try googling "germination" + your plant name. I've had luck with doing that.
