goose plums; paw paw

I just read that goose plums were a natural cross between sand plums and american plums and tasted better than either. Does that mean a seed from each grew together?

(I read eslewhere a goose plum was bitter, anyway)

What if I planted two different species paw paw together? Would they grow into each other?

Apples? Any fruit?
