This is my second attempt with Dendrobium laevifolium. It is a more reasonable cousin to the temperamental Dendrobium cuthbertsonii. Laevifolium can take warmer temperatures and "slightly" dryer conditions. My downfall on the previous one was that I let it become completely dry one too my times, and it could not take it. Hopefully, I can do better with this one.

The flowers are long lasting. I think about 4-6 weeks. I am fairly certain the long lasting nature of the flowers and very bright colors are due to the fact this one is bird pollinated in the wild. Any know if this is correct?
