In a galaxy far, far away and a time far, far in the past, the Eric Young foundation made a bunch of beautiful Calanthe hybrids. Cal Orchids had several of them and was selling them when a Japanese buyer snapped them all up and poof, they were gone. A member of my society had bought one before this happened and traded me for a bulb. I have since found 3 more and have the following:

Grouville (Super semi x Long John)
Kinteroi 'Waterfield Rasberry'
Rozel Mendenhall Pink x Rozel Newberry
rubens 'Pink'
St Aubin 'Waterfall Crimson'

I don't know if all of these trace back to the Eric Young Foundation but would be very interested in acquiring more if anyone knows of any for sale or trade.

Here is the Rozel Mendenhall Pink which I posted earlier. First bloom, it had only 4 flowers, I'm sure more next year.
