I'm sorry to say that such a plant does not exist. We've got to deal with pesky rodents in the usual ways.....exclusion, trapping, poisons.

There have been some studies that suggest lavender may deter mice (oil, plant and dried). The link below was for the oil.

As for my own experience it was marginally effective.

Yes. It is definitly mice. Seen them...their evidence...Caught a few (glue traps have worked best for us). Just haven't found their nest yet.

What made me ask, I sowed some Artemisia absinthium a few months back. Been growing it indoors. One day I discovered something had been digging in the pot and chewing on the plant. If it was bugs, I never found any. But I did find a dead mouse nearby. Dunno if the two incidents were related, but it did get me thinking lol

Easy to tell if it's mice. I kept mice when I was young, and you never forget the aroma of mouse. And the droppings are a give-away. And then, if you are quiet, and hiding, you see them.

While I have heard many anecdotal reports that mints are supposed to repel rodents, I have not found that true myself. I am not aware of any plants that will repel mice.
