Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas!

I added the pic of the ornament in the picture below - it's one that my father-in-law made about 3 years ago when he came to visit us for Christmas. I bought a bunch of those glass ornaments and various paints, and the four of us (husband, daughter, father-in-law and myself) spent an evening decorating the insides of all of them. It was a lot of fun, and really am enjoying hanging them on our tree every year!

Merry Christmas and happy holidays folks! Hope Santa brings you everything you asked for. Or at least meybe he heard coal is no longer PC and brought you a a wind turbine this year haha.

Had to share a pic of a gift my husband made for my daughter - it's a hoot! He took an old wicker flamingo from a thrift store and used his imagination to make it into a unique, funny gift. Click on the image and hopefully it will take you to a short video of it in action:

It said at Google+ that "photo not available," Marj.

I had to come back and edit my little card above. It was originally linked to a Wikimedia recording of "Deck the Halls."

That is, it should have been. When it didn't work after posting, I clicked the edit button. The url was completely different from what I copy/pasted. I tried again, same result! So, the 3 little guys were left to play silently ...
