Wait for a smaller or otherwise cheaper one. And yes, none of the other "hardy" palms are as durable in this region as windmill palm, which may even reseed on some local sites. Even Mediterranean fan palm my die back during sharper winters here.

Thank's for the reply boy. I know what you mean about the Mediterranean palms. Had one in a planter on my deck and it did OK for a few years, then a few winters back we had an extended cold spell that"fried" it. Like I said have a few trachea that have been in the ground 4 years now and starting to get some height to them. I
