She never bothered to email me or contact me anything once she got my seeds.

I feel like she took as many seeds as she could like a snatch and run. Since I see I am not the only person who has not got seeds.

She was on several sites besides here getting people to sign up and I have no idea how many of them did not get seeds back.

as for being lost in the mail. Olivia blocked me as soon as I told her I expected her to use the 10.00 I send for postage and tracking on my package.,

And yes as of yesterday it said blocked not that her account was no long active, and as for her account being deactivated, the person who set up the account has to deactivate the account. So whats she hiding from?? Because she took seeds and scammed people? If she's able to deactivate her account then she's able to come on line and face what she's done.

I just checked on reneeraven too, she does not have a face book account, so how did she check on Olivia under facebook?

For one thing, Hospitals do not "confirm that so and so was in there a week ago".

she's just out side of st Louis. my mail comes out of Memphis Tennessee that's 2 stops. very short trip

now one of the people who is friends with her is emailing me telling Olivia mailed my package back to me because it was all one kind is seeds and was cheap. that's a bold face lie. I send in 200 pks of 25 of each kinds of seeds. and I ask before I ever sent in. She ask that I please not send in all of one kind because some one else already had.

All I can do is reiterate that I received my seeds from this swap,...nearly a ton. Sure is weird she apparently terminated her account, though. I dunno, seems t'me there has to be more to this than a simple ripoff, somehow. :/

You do not have my email nor name to check if I have a facebook. I do indeed have a facebook. I am not personal friends with her and I did not email you. She got ill after she started the swap, in late march. Something is fishy with you

I called the hospital while she was still in there and asked if she was there at the time she happened to be there when I called and they gave me her room number and connected me through to it . Have you never called a hospital to check on a relative before? All you have to do is give them the name and ask if they are there (if they haven't chosen to remain anonymous)

I have seen no complaints on the fb groups or heirloom seed swap of anyone not getting seeds. I just smell a sh*t disturbing drama queen. I am sure if you would contact her nicely after she is better she would have probably sent money or something to cover what was LOST she seemed like a very nice and considerate person when we met

if she were to steel your seeds why would she need 25 or 200 pack of the same thing when many people sent a huge variety?????? why would she steal yours when there were larger and nicer varieties to steal of more rare seeds????

Don't believe it? here's a picture she sent in an email after her brain biopsy, which I saw the incision scarring when I went to pickup my seeds

Of course though her personal business is not anyone's but who she chooses to tell. But I am she she does not need the stress of drama over a lost package or 2 out of like 40 or so. I am sure she would / will be willing to compensate anyone for their lost seeds , she is a very sweet person

And for drama I feel sorry for anyone who does get involved like school children without knowing everything, karma and God are always watching

I contact my post office today. they traced the tracking number and they were delivered to Olivia's house. they said they will check into and see if a package to me was mailed from her.

sounds like to me she sent too many seeds to her friends and ran short before completing her swap. since someone here said she sent some of her own seeds. when you conduct a swap you have to package your own seeds up in advance so you know how many you have to trade.

She sent her seeds because she knew some would go bad since she didn't have time to grow them

If she ran short on seeds I don't think she would have sent out 200 FLOWER seeds to vegetable swappers........ there were very few people in her flower swap . Your package had to have been lost

ANYONE WHO HASNT GOTTEN THEIR SEEDS PLEASE READ including Spacetogrow and sigma3 can you post your wishlist so I can print it for her, went by this morning and she has no computer access at the moment and has not been able to get on the forums. She said anyone who hasn't gotten their seeds she will need your addresses so she can mail compensation and any seeds she might have on your lists and also if you can remember about how many you sent it . if anyone wants a gift certificate to baker creek heirloom seeds she is willing to send that as compensation as well.

I sent in 87 packs, but 25 were from volunteer wild medicinals in my garden. If you subtract those as "Bonus packs", that leaves 62 packs.

Turn your Houzz messaging on: At the top right of this page, click on "Your Houzz" , then click on edit profile, next go to advanced settings and scroll way, way down to where it says "who can message me" and change it to "allow anyone to message me".

If you did this, you can click on someone's screenname in a post, it will take you to their profile and you see a white box that says message, so click it and message them.

Sigma's and spacetogrow's are on. Belinda's and reneeraven are not.

Wow,...seriously, not even by now? Could it be that something serious has happened to Olivia? Or is there evidence to the contrary?

nope not a word from her or the other. person who was supposed to take care of everything Olivia left hanging. I got burnt pretty bad. I haven't traded anymore. my husband was not happy about it at all. says no more trades since I got burnt so bad.

I also have not received any seeds. I've seen no effort on Olivia's part to contact me.

For what it is worth, I have participated in quite a few swaps within this community before and have always found them worth taking the chance...sometimes fantastically so. However, I walked into the swaps recognizing that it IS taking a chance, especially if someone is a first-timer at facilitating a swap, as in this case apparently. I don't plan to stop participating in swaps in the future, but find it wise to gamble no more than I can afford to lose.

I know what you mean. I'll probably do some more but it will be with people I know. I know there has to be more than just us that she pulled this on and would not have been as bad had she not sent extra seeds to her buddies before she finished the swap.
