WHEN I heard the learn'd vermicomposter;
When the proofs, the figures, were ranged in columns before me;
When I was shown the charts and the diagrams, to add, divide, and measure them;
When I, sitting, heard the vermicomposter, where he lectured with much applause in the lecture-room,
How soon, unaccountable, I became tired and sick;
Till rising and gliding out, I wander'd off by myself,
In the mystical moist night-air, and from time to time,
Look'd down in perfect silence at the worms.

Walt Whitman.......hmmm? Was he any kin to Slim Whitman?

Slim did yodeling country songs like "I'm Casting My Lasso Towards the Sky", and "There's a Love Knot in My Lariat", and, of course, "My Heart Is Broken in Three".

Walt did some pretty good stuff, but..........

Obviously the vermi feast way better on spent grain in Texas than on spent grain somewhere in the Northeast.

If any rappers hole up near ye, no doubt handsome slim is what the FBI will pipe into their compound.

I sort of imagine it as they are auctioning off a pound o worms to enthusiastic as yet wormless bidders. None of this modern day purchase worms on amazon stuff. In the olden days if the people wanted worms they had to get out there and bid for them.
