Half the fun is in the hunt. Someone who is really interested in learning will not only dig through these forums but also the vast information available around the ether.

Some things that can help are naming thread titles in a way that is indicative of their content and contributors to the thread attempting to add to that content in their posting.

That said the question is what is this forum supposed to be? Seems to me that it operates pretty well as a loose structure fun environment. That will create some fluff that needs wading through to get to the pearls but it also makes for activity that keeps bringin folks back. The great thing about that is when there is a question there will often be someone along who can answer it.

Forums always have to decide in tone and structure how they operate. This goes from spoon feed, answer the same question three times a day to RTFM. This forum from what I have seen of it falls in a happy medium.
