Bullnose tile ought to last as long as the rest of your tile. :)

For appearances, the Schluter goes well with more modern or contemporary setups, or where it's just not noticeable. I suspect it's just a matter of taste. (Of course your tile options do increase if you're not relying on the elusive bullnose.)

I used quarter-round trim.

Schluter bullnose works great if there is no bullnose made to match your tile. Much better than showing a raw edge. But if there IS bullnose for your tile, it makes for a much smoother flow, not adding another material into the mix. As for which will last longer, both, if installed properly, will outlast you OR me. As for pros or cons, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, that being the homeowner. :-) In other words, which every YOU like better, in spite of my long winded speech. LOL

Hi Bill!!!!! Are you having a snow day? Welcome back. I really missed you.

I am today. This is getting to be TOO much of a habit!! We've had practically nothing all winter, and now all of the sudden in a week's time, we've got 3 storms hitting us one after another starting with that blizzard that dumped 21 inches here in town. Wreaking havoc with my schedule! Tamara and I had a talk and decided I'll just stay away from HT. :-)
