Hi ellendi! I hope you had a great holiday. I don't hang out on this board too much anymore so I was a bit startled to see my name pop up.

What do you want to know? I think I gave a lot of info in my reveal post. I can't link it now but Google nycbluedevil pics of my new bathrooms garden web and I bet it comes up. Of course, I am happy to answer any other questions too.

Thanks, I did look at your reveal. What showrooms did you find the most useful for getting ideas?

I went to a few places in the Flatiron district to get ideas about marble. They are all clustered in a small area between around 16th to 20th Streets between Park and 6th. Walker Zanger was one of the places. I ended up having my contractor's marble guy source it for me though.

For fixtures and such, I went to Waterworks in the same area. I also went to Kraft, which is now closed. There is also NYKB. However, I ended up getting all of my fixtures from International Bath and Tile in San Diego. They carry all the high end stuff. I ordered it all on the phone. I got my sinks, tub, shower and sink faucets and toilets from them. Great prices and free shipping. Very knowledgeable salespeople. They were great and I used them again for my kitchen.

Now that I think about it, I think that Simon's Hardware is still around even though Kraft is gone. They have a big selection. Third Avenue and 29th! If I remember correctly. You can also check out Klaff in Westchester, I think.

I used Bilotta for my kitchen. I didn't know about them when I did my bathrooms but they have a great showroom and do baths too. They are located in the A and D building. That building, as well as 200 Lex, are good places to check out numerous companies.

Hope this helps.
