How much did it cost you by s/f to have your concrete stained? Pls indicate where you are in the country.

We estimate 2-10$ per sqft in WNC. Its the prep work that gets you. Our most recent job came in at about 6 I think..

I'm very surprised it cost anywhere near that much! The stain itself is cheap. I'm talking about basic staining, non of the fancy stuff. Why is there so much prep work for a slab??

Just try to DIY if you think it's expensive. Ever been on a construction site where the trades have worked on top of the slab? It's not meant to be a finished surface. Protecting it so it can be has it's own set of hazards.
