Christmas Tree Quilt

I finished it the other day. It is paper pieced & machine quilted. I was going to make fabric ornaments to decorate it, of which we had done a make-it/take-it at quilt club. But after making a couple, I thought they were too big in scale, so I used them as the "packages" under the tree & "star" atop. Then did yoyo's for bulbs on the tree. A fun project!

Very nice! I agree, the ornaments might have been too large on the tree, but make great packages. Just in time for Christmas!

How sweet! It's very similar to a pattern I purchased in 2013. Maybe I'll have it finished for Christmas 2015.

Now that's a tall wall hanging....just the right size for the door. lol Looks good and I agree about the ornaments. Good job!

I have this pattern! I have tried to get to it for the last 2 years, and other projects take over. After seeing yours.....I have got to get this done for next year. Yours is perfect! I love it! Love the packages under the tree.

How cute! Is that quilting on the little inner border, or a trim of some sort?

Lovely wall hanging. To me, the tree topper really makes it, good decision to decorate the way you did. Very nice.
